Janelle Funari’s desire to revert back to her successful beginnings of active wear and swim apparel as a next step of expansion beyond couture. After testing the market in 2016 on fitness enthusiasts, with a strong approval from all: The Funari NY Performance brand was born!! The line expanded in 2018 to a Men’s Athleisure Line and now in 2019 the launch of the Men’s and Women’s Swim apparel.
Seeking innovation and growth constantly the Funari brand is proudly launching Unisex clothing to be shared with Men and Women this year. The muse of the designer remains to be her beloved French Bulldog Maxine. By not being able to find any fashionable apparel for her pup, Janelle Funari brand began designing Pet couture Apparel, which spun off into Maxine Avenue Nyc for everyday and special occasion pup apparel.
Being able to utilize the couture fabrics from her collection was an easy cross over, making pet owners ecstatic to now offer mini me clothing to match their pet.
